The Music of Billy Joel starring Michael Cavanaugh

The music of the Piano Man comes alive on the Warner Theatre stage. Michael Cavanaugh earned both Grammy and Tony award nominations for his performance in Billy Joel’s musical, “Movin’ Out.”
Come Home for the Holidays

Raiders of the Lost Ark Live in Concert

Released in 1981 as a collaboration between George Lucas and Steven Spielberg, Raiders redefined adventure cinema and launched actor Harrison Ford to legendary status.
Ashley Brown: Spoonful of Sugar

2025-26 Symphonic Series
Brahms, Beethoven, & Rach

Perhaps one of the Russian composer's most popular works, Sergei Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 2 premiered in 1908 to great acclaim. The philharmonic will open with a performance of Nänie by Brahms featuring the Erie Philharmonic Chorus, followed by Beethoven's Violin Concerto featuring David McCarroll.
Mahler’s Sixth

The legacy of the “Mahler Hammer” was created and lives on through Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 6. The evening also will include a performance of Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 20 in d minor featuring Orli Shaham.
Copland’s Rodeo

Initially reluctant to compose another "cowboy ballet," American composer Aaron Copland's "Rodeo" ballet premiered in 1942 to an impressive 22 curtain calls.
The evening will also include Barber’s Violin Concerto featuring Alexi Kenney, Walker’s Lyric for Strings, and Thompson’s Symphony No. 2.
New World Symphony

Antonin Dvořák's Symphony No. 9, known as the New World Symphony, earned the composer an international reputation. The symphony is so influential that astronaut Neil Armstrong brought a tape recording of the symphony on the Apollo 11 mission to the moon.
The evening will open with Montgomery’s Strum and Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G featuring Sean Chen.
Britten’s War Requiem

The traditional Latin mass for the dead is combined with nine poems about war written by English poet Wilfred Owen who was killed in action just one week before the World War I armistice. Composer Benjamin Britten asked that no applause follow the premiere. Britten's War Requiem was immediately considered a contemporary masterpiece. Daniel Meyer, the orchestra, and the Erie Philharmonic Chorus will offer a world-class performance of this important piece.
